Crew Welfare Hub Opening for Summer Cruise Season

Crew Welfare Hub at Liverpool Cruise Terminal

Liverpool Seafarers Centre are delighted to be reopening the refurbished Crew Welfare Hub at Liverpool Cruise Terminal this May.

Throughout the summer season, from May to September, the Liverpool Cruise Terminal will be busy with around 36 cruise liners making multiple trips to the city with over 20,000 crew members working across the vessels.

The Crew Welfare Hub is jointly operated by Liverpool Seafarers Centre and Liverpool Cruise Terminal with an aim of providing practical and emotional support to visiting seafarers.

Crew members docking at Liverpool Cruise Terminal will have easy access to facilities and services, including complimentary WiFi, refreshments, local information, and have the opportunity to speak with a dedicated team of Ship Welfare Visitors and Volunteers, all without having to leave the terminal and venture into the city.

Her Royal Highness, the Princess Royal, is due to visit the Liverpool Cruise Terminal next month, so the Hub plans to have union jack flags ready to offer a welcoming wave!

It is hoped that the Crew Welfare Hub will become a comforting and supportive haven for all crew passing through the Liverpool Cruise Terminal.

Keep an eye out for the Crew Welfare Hub this summer!
