    Our seafarers centre, which opens daily, is located in the heart of the Liverpool docklands and provides a warm and welcoming place for mariners to socialise and relax. We’re always available for a friendly chat, or to provide useful information about our local area.

  • Ship Visits

    Our Ship Welfare Visitors and Volunteers visit crew on board ships, offering practical assistance and wellbeing support. This is vital due to faster turnarounds of vessels and when shore leave is not available.

  • Minibus Transport in Liverpool

    Our crew minibuses are available to transport seafarers around our beautiful city. Ideally this should be booked in advance of your visit to Liverpool so that we can schedule our driver to pick you up.

  • Helping Seafarers Stay Connected

    We offer free WiFi which allows seafarers to contact family and loved ones back home. Subsidised international sim cards, mobile phones and laptops are also available for crew to use whilst in port. If you have any requests prior to visiting us, please get in touch.

    Seafarers can experience a range of emotional challenges, including loneliness, anxiety and stress to dealing with trauma, or significant life events. Having someone to talk to who is not an immediate colleague can often help. We have put together some helpful tips about looking after your mental heath.

    In certain situations, seafarers may encounter difficulties, such as job loss, disability, or illness. Our maritime charity can provide temporary financial assistance to alleviate their burdens during challenging times. If you or anyone you know is experiencing financial difficulties, please contact us in confidence.

    Stocking up on essential items such as food, hygiene products and clothing can be tricky for seafarers. Lack of money, short supplies onboard, or restricted time in port can be factors.

    We can bring fresh food, warm clothing and confectionery onboard. These small acts of kindness can have a profound impact on lifting someone’s spirits.

    Our chapel and quiet area is open daily for private and group prayer, regardless of cultural or religious beliefs.

    Our Chaplains are also on hand to provide assistance. If you would like to speak to someone, please get in touch. We can come onboard your vessel if you can’t get ashore.
